Car Park Barrier Manufacturer Designer Installer Malaysia

Car Park Barrier Manufacturer Designer Installer Malaysia

Synopsis: How does it work?

An automated car park system uses what is commonly called barrier access control system whereby users stop at the booth, flashes the RFID card at the card reader for acceptance into the building or compound area. The vehicle loop coil and detector which has been embedded in the ground and linked to the barrier access control system works to detect presence of car. Upon verification, the barrier gate or boom gate is lifted up automatically (mechanically) because the barrier access control system enables it. Upon leaving the marked area (loop coil area in the ground) the barrier gate would come down and blocks the area again in position for the next driver.

Car Park Barrier Access Control System

There are two types of car parking systems: traditional and automated (using RFID system).
There is a gradual and consistently growing demand for automated car parking systems.
Car park barrier systems have shown to be more cost effective when compared to traditional parking garages.

Vehicle Loop Coil and Detector

The loop coil is embedded on the road pavement and detects the presence of the vehicle through the disturbance of the magnetic field generated by the coil caused by the steel mass of the vehicle. The coil is connected to the loop detector which measures the change in current in the coil and generates an output to indicate the presence of the vehicle. The output is sent to the Barrier Access Controller which is also connected to a PC-based system for reporting purposes.

RFID Card Reader

Car owners or drivers (motorists) who have legitimate access to the building or gated community, shall present their RFID cards to the RFID Card Reader which is mounted on the wall of the toll booth or guard house booth. Only valid RFID card users are allowed to enter. This is automated due to the fact, the RFID card users must firstly be registered with the system.

PC-Based System Report

The entire system can be linked to a PC via the traditonal serial communications cabling system or ethernet cabling infrastructure system. An administrator assigned to monitor the Barrier Access Control Software, would be able to easily verify and / or generate a report on the usage of the Car Park Barrier Access Control System. Features would / could include anti-pass-back, etc.
